TBL TRAVELLING RIVERSIDE EVENT 2010

Join us for the TBL Travelling Riverside Celebration Fan Gathering

Saturday September 25th marks the 30th anniversary of the untimely death of John Bonham and the end of the 12 year glorious reign of Led Zeppelin.   On that day we will be acknowledging this milestone with the Travelling Riverside Celebration event – a celebratory fan gathering to be held on Saturday September 25th 2010 at The George Inn situated in Eton in  Windsor, Berkshire, UK on  the banks of the River Thames. There’s a full day of Zep related activity planned including Guest speakers, Tribute Band performance, Memorabilia displays, Charity Auction, Zep Quiz, Zep karaoke etc. All in all this is a great opportunity for fans to gather and celebrate the life of John Bonham and the lasting legacy of Led Zeppelin.

This event provides the perfect opportunity for like minded fans from near and far to gather and pay homage to the world greatest rock band –sharing their enthusiasm and passion for all things Zeppelin. The celebration will commence at 2pm and run through until midnight with many Zeppelin related activities and presentations taking place. Below is a summary of the planned items for the day with more to be announced in due course:

A live performance by a leading Led Zeppelin tribute band

Dave Lewis will be on hand to talk about his new book “Led Zeppelin Feather In the Wind – Over Europe 1980”, the follow up to last year’s Knebworth volume.

Plus other guest speakers to be announced

Video and audio presentations throughout the day

Led Zep memorabilia exhibition with many rare and unseen items for fans         to view

The ultimate Led Zep audio –visual pub quiz. Many great prizes to be won.

Charity auction and raffle with more outstanding Zep collectables to be won.

Zep karaoke – a great success at last year’s Knebworth celebration – your chance to bellow out Zep’s greatest hits!

All in all this is a great opportunity for fans to gather and celebrate the life of John Bonham and the lasting legacy of Led Zeppelin.
