NEWS UPDATE: ROBERT PLANT ANNOUNCES NEW YORK SHOW

Robert Plant has announced a one-off show in New York on Sunday 12th September at the Bowery Ballroom, Delancey St., New York. Ticket go on sale noon today (Saturday) from www.ticketmaster
Following on from the successful show at The Forum in Kentish Town the next morning Robert appeared on the BBC 1 Morning News show, waxing lyrical about the Band Of Joy project and doing his best to ignore the Zepp to reform question. Check out the clip here from the www.bbc.co.uk website.

JIMMY PAGE BOOK DUE SEPT 27th –INTERVIEW IN SUNDAY TIMES

The long awaited Jimmy Page pictorial memoir will be published by Genesis Publications on September 27th.
The large format book is over 500 pages and reproduces more than 650 photographs and illustrations, making it the biggest limited edition that Genesis has produced to date. Pre orders are still being taken for the 2,500 limited edition copies – all of which will be personally signed by Jimmy.

KNEBWORTH OWNER LORD DAVID COBBOLD ON DESERT ISLAND DISCS

Lord David Cobbold, owner of the Knebworth House estate and instigator of the Knebworth concerts back in 1974, was the guest on Radio 4’s long running Desert Island Discs programme today. He talked affectionately about the history of the house and concerts. There was name check for Zep during the introduction by presenter Kirsty Young and his choices included Pink Floyd’s Brain Damage and Paul McCartney’s rendering of Hey Jude live from Knebworth in 1990.
