55 years ago on September 13 and 14, 1971 Led Zeppelin performed two shows at the Berkeley Theatre in California. Thankfully both these shows were captured by fans in attendance and have appeared on various bootleg releases.

Andy Adams 1961 – 2021…
Five years gone…
Andy Adams passed away five years years ago on August 27,2021.
The response back then to his very sad passing was truly overwhelming though not unsurprising given Andy’s standing in the Zep community…
Reading back through all those amazing tributes and memories from back then, it’s heartwarming to see the esteem he was held in by so many – and the way he brightened all our lives and still does.
It’s a tribute to Andy that his Celebration Days Facebook group has continued to be an enlightening …

31 years ago this week a fair few of you reading this were tearing up and down the highways and byways of the UK to catch the long awaited on stage return of   Jimmy Page & Robert Plant.

Live Aid  – 41 Years Gone:
For all its ragged missed cues, hoarse vocals and cod drumming, I have great affinity for the ramshackle Zep Live Aid appearance. There’s little doubt that those 15 minutes on stage had a massive impact. Suddenly Led Zeppelin’s name was back in the frame and it was safe to own up to being a fan again.
Before all that, incredible as it sounds now, that early 80’s period had rendered them somewhat forgotten.
