Led Zeppelin – The Destroyer 49 years Gone:
The first recordings I heard of the 1977 US tour was an echo laded audience tape from the April 28 Cleveland show. I had this arrive via one of my key collector contacts Russ Rees about a month after the gig. Despite the average sound, it was still a thrill to hear the likes of Ten Years Gone and Achilles Last Stand performed live. In 1980 a soundboard mixing desk tape emerged of their April 27 gig. Mr. Jimmy film – Blu-ray release…
Following a Japanese release, the acclaimed Mr. Jimmy film is now available in the UK, USA, Canada and Mexico on Blu-ray to order via the film’s website.
I met with producer Peter Michael Dowd in London last October to record a commentary which forms one of the extras on the Blu-ray release. I also provided a new sleeve note essay for the booklet.

Becoming Led Zeppelin for Blu-ray release…
Becoming Led Zeppelin, the documentary directed by Bernard MacMahon, will be released on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD in the US and UK on April 14 2026 Sony Pictures Classics is releasing a Limited Collector’s Edition SteelBook featuring 4K UHD and Blu-ray discs, plus special extras including a letter from the director, guitar picks, and patches.
