I once made the observation that Led Zeppelin fans were not really purveyors of fashion when it comes to clothing. A Ben Sherman shirt or a bootleg LP?  No question really, the LP won every time.  In recent years there has been a variety of garish Zep T-shirt designs to be seen. Led Zeppelin scooped the Best Live act award at the Mojo Honours List Award ceremony on Monday night in London. Both Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were in attendance and received the award jointly. Afterwards Jimmy spoke to Xfm radio. Asked if he’d tried to subsequently persuade vocalist Robert Plant to rejoin the band, Jimmy said “I’m not going to persuade anyone to do anything. It’s just like the O2, you do it in the spirit of your heart, don’t you? You either do it or you don’t.”

The planned June 19th show at the Fox Theatre, St Louis, has been rescheduled for September 24. Tickets for the June 19th show will be honoured for that date. In addition, a second show has been added for September 25 at the Fox Theatre. The show has been rescheduled to allow for the filming of a concert DVD.

This week it was reported in the Daily Telegraph that after The Foo Fighters gig at Wembley, Jimmy Page said in an interview that the band (Led Zeppelin) were ready to reunite and perform more live events. But he said that fans could have to wait until Autumn 2009 as band members had to tie up individual projects first.
