The Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert, originally scheduled for Monday, November 26th and featuring Led Zeppelin, Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings, Paul Rogers, Paolo Nutini, and Foreigner has been postponed until December 10th due to Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page fracturing his finger.
The injury to Page’s finger, which was sustained this past weekend, will not allow him to play guitar for 3 weeks.

Jimmy Page is due to be honoured at this year’s Classic Rock Roll Of Honour Awards. He is due to receive the Living Legend award on November 5th at The Landmark Hotel in London.

Raising Sand has been enjoying massive first week sales and looks set to enter the US Billboard chart at number 2. A similar position is also likely in the UK. 
Robert and Alison were due to appear on the Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie radio show on October 30 at 8:00pm on BBC Radio 2. The show normally has a listen again feature on-line, allowing you to catch the show if you miss it first time round.
They are also lined up for TV appearances on BBC2’s Culture Show and BBC Breakfast.

A rare piece of TV footage of Led Zeppelin performing Babe I’m Gonna Leave You, recorded around the end of March in 1969 at the Radio Bremen TV Studios in Bremen, Germany has turned up on the youtube website. Shot in black and white, the band mime there way though the number. Robert and Alison recorded a TV special for CMTCrossroads last Thursday (Oct 18th) in The Mill, Lebanon, Tennessee. As well as featuring tracks from the forthcoming Raising Sand CD, the duo also performed When The Levee Breaks and Black Dog. The backing band consisted of band leader T-Bone Burnett, guitar player Buddy Miller, guitarist Marc Ribot, drummer Jay Bellerose and bassist Dennis Crouch. No air date for the Krauss-Plant Crossroads episode, has not been announced yet.
