Robert Plant & The Band Of Joy –The Sage, Gateshead October 20th  2010
Fabulous evening – I don’t think I’ve seen Robert as relaxed and as comfortable within a band.
Vocally the whole evening was sensational, Robert, as Id expected, maintains an impeccable standard – but the whole band sings and there are wonderful harmonies flying in all over the place. The musicianship was great too throughout and also Robert was more than happy to share the limelight and took to the rear of the stage whilst Buddy,Patty & …

Robert Plant & The Band Of Joy- October 16th, Sentrum Scene, Oslo, Norway
This report from Tiina Puska
Justin Adams & Juldeh Camara opened the evening. They were truly something special and I would really love to see them again. My husband , who is normally more into heavy metal, was thrilled by them.
Robert was in a great mood, relaxed, smiling and laughing and joking about the afternoon nap he took in his hotel room. I’m not sure if he stayed at the Grand Hotel, which is the best …

I was listening to the Tommy Vance Friday What’s New programme as I did most Fridays back then eager to hear the latest single releases. Around 5pm the announcement was made on the BBC Radio One news and Tommy went on to provide a fitting tribute to the guitar legend noting the inconsistencies of his performances over the past year.
Across the water the next day Led Zeppelin were performing two …
