Exclusive TBL Interview with Deborah Bonham:
Here’s the complete interview I recently conducted with Deborah Bonham. Deb and the band are currently collaborating with Paul Rodgers on his Free Spirit tour – initial reports of the gigs have been very impressive. The 14 date tour ends on May 27 at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
DL: So first of all let’s talks about your album catalogue – this is all being re-released and remastered via Cadiz Music. You must be pleased about that?
DB: Yes, very much so. Cadiz are a great old label they have been …

John Paul Jones back on stage:
Tres Coyotes the new band formed by John Paul Jones with Anssi Karttunen and Magnus Lindberg made their live debut in Helsinki, Finland on Wednesday April 5.
Long time TBL contributors Tiina Puska and Minna Luostarinen were in attendance – here’s their first impressions:
”What can we say about the Tres Coyotes; challenging, powerful, enjoyable. JPJ was relaxed and clearly enjoying himself. He played five string bass and mandolin and grand piano. Modern contemporary classical improvisation. It was fantastic”

Evenings With Led Zeppelin by Dave Lewis and Mike Tremaglio
Here’s an update of the current major project.
The pic below was taken at StudioMix last week as I was working with TBL designer Mick Lowe on the Evenings With Led Zeppelin book project. This is the major book I am co-writing and collating together with long time TBL contributor Mike Tremaglio – with Mick handling the design and Omnibus Press the publishing.
Mike needs no introduction to readers of the TBL magazine. His diligence in researching the concert history of Led Zeppelin is second …

Christmas Eve is nigh on upon us – and it’s that final rush to get everything sorted for the next couple of days.
As is customary on Christmas Eve here – I’ll be wearing my Led Zeppelin Winterland 1969 tie bought for me by Larry Ratner in 1993 (hi Larry!).
After all the intense work on the forthcoming TBL issue 42 of recent weeks, it will be great to unwind inthe company of visiting friends and along the way a beer or two may be drunk in one or …

The 02 Reunion – Nine Years Gone: Photo by Dave Linwood
Nine years ago on December 10, 2007 , I awoke with the prospect of Led Zeppelin retuning to the stage just a matter of hours away. The previous night I’d spent the evening in the Pilot Inn toasting that fact with fans from all corners of the world. It would be a similar scene a few hours later.
The day itself went by in something of a blur – walking on that cold concourse leading to the O2 complex, conducting various interviews, …
