On January 7th the Royal Mail are issuing a series of stamps featuring ten classic album designs – including the Led Zeppelin fourth album cover
TBL can offer an exclusive highly collectable limited edition first day cover envelope which depicts all ten stamps
The first day cover will be franked exclusively for TBL to state from Plant Street Cradley Heath which is situated in the West Midlands. This is a unique franking stamp in association with Bletchley Park Post Office for TBL and will not be available elsewhere.
Each first day cover will be hand finished and individually numbered on the rear via Bletchley Park Post Office with a presentation envelope which contains background details of the album covers featured.
The cost for each first day cover is as follows
UK £22 including postage
Europe £23 including postage
United States/rest of world £25 including postage

I like the idea of bringing out album covers of the past on to stamps. It’s as if the stamp collectors have risen from the dust and have got a chance to revamp their collectible stamps, once again. It would truly be nice to see the miniature album covers on stamps, though for some it may seem of no use. But for stamp lovers in particular, it’s a jackpot.
Beatles album cover issue from Bletchley Park sold out in 2 days and now worth £100+. The online gallery at Bletchleycovers.com is worth a visit.
I have all but two of these ….all on vinyl. Interesting choice for the Pink Floyd album , thought they may have gone for Dark Side of the Moon ?? ……Blur but not Oasis
Guess everyone will have a view on this
certainly makes stamp collecting a bit more intresting 😉
