I had been to a few concerts previous to Knebworth and had no great expectations. Thirty years on I still talk about ‘being there’.I have been to dozens of events since but nothing comes close to the moment those aircraft lights and the wall of lights behind, blasted out over the crowd timed to the reapperance of the rest of the band after Jimmys solo. An awesome wall of sound and light – still gives me shivers!
