The following concert announcement has been made:
Robert Plant Presents Sensational Space Shifters will be performing at the HMV Forum, London,Thursday July 12th.
Tickets are priced at £40 & £45 and are available from: 0843 221 0100 / www.hmv.com
Tickets on sale from 9:00a.m. Friday, May 4th.
Amazing. No problem at all getting a ticket – and I didn’t even try to buy until four days after they went on sale. What a strange, almost extreme contrast to Gloucester. Anyway, I have the ticket now, so that’s great. Hope I enjoy it more than the Band of Joy gig at the same venue a year or so ago, and I agree with some of the comments that the Forum ain’t the greatest place, but the main thing is that I’m going to be there, so am very happy. Let’s hope he brings Norman Hale out for a boogie-woogie encore!
Have purchased 2x tickets for downstairs that are no longer required (I needed upstairs tickets so the good wife could see).
Anybody interested in the downstairs pair of tickets, please leave a message and I’ll get back to you
just got 2
Both downstairs and upstairs still available this morning. And the website even works properly…
Downstairs standing still on sale this morning! (Sat).
Look forward to seeing everyone there.
Dave.
travelling down for the robert plant gig.would also welcome a tbl meet
After all the panic about London tickets selling out ,got ours this morning and have just looked now (at 21.30 )and they are still available from HMV.
Maybe the good people of Gloucester don`t get the same oppotunities to see Mr Plant as we do in London,we are obviously the lucky ones.
See you all there
Yes, this venue is the pits and attracts a hugely anti social 20-30 something crowd who seem to be happy to part with good money and then spend the entire evening talking/shouting to their friends, or to indiscrimately push you out of the way so they can go to the bar and then spill beer over you on the way back. These sort of people seem to go to these gigs in order to tick some kind of box that they’ve seen this legend or that legend without any real interest in the proceedings. The sight lines and sound quality are pretty poor as well, and unless your well over 6 feet tall you will see very little.
Why Robert can’t play in an “adult” venue such as the Hammersmith Odeon is beyond me.
Hi Richard
Very civilised process I agree! There were still tickets available well after the start of the process so lets hope fans got what they needed and the eBay appearances are small …. heard some of the Gloucester tickets that appeared on eBay were cancelled and resold via legitimate channels !
Got mine for London and look forward to a TBL meet up ! Over to you Dave! ;0)
Going to both the Gloucester and London shows. Looking forward to seeing people there!
That was much easier than Glos! Despite the stress I was building myself up for, tickets are still available 20mins after going on sale. Now I just need a cheap hotel for the overnight…
And yes, an autumn tour would be very welcome!
Hope everyone who wanted tickets managed to get them…
Best, RG
Could this be a build up to an Autumn tour perhaps?
Full tour Please Mr plant……..
Really want to see Robert but went to see him at this venue last year and ended up leaving early because of some of the idiots I encountered, Saw him at the Roundhouse a couple of months later and the crowd was a completely different story and it was a great night, Have to decide what to do,tried for Gloucester, unsuccessfully!
Great news! Problem will be the mad scramble for tickets again. I agree with Kam that a full tour’s worth announced in one go would help. I fear this will be worse than Gloucester, what with it being London and so more accessible geographically. Luckily the venue is a bit bigger, but demand might be higher.
Still, got to go for it! Fingers and toes crossed (again!).
There’s a nice pub over the road for a TbL get together too!

🙂
Rather than these ‘one off ‘ shows where we will struggle to get tickets it’s a shame several dates aren’t just announced.
Whoo hoo. That’s more like it! Ok. Will be at the ready …. Again. Let’s see what we get . I will try for four! ……and I promise to offer any I can get at FACE VALUE to TBL friends once I get my two
Fingers crossed!
