I hope they come back to the sun of Clearwater, Fl at Ruth Eckerd Hall where I just saw Jason Bonham play. Would love to see them again now that the record is out and the songs so familiar–and outstanding.
Aaaaargh!! WHEN will they hit the WEST COAST?
Constitution Hall is one of DC’s most prestigious venues, and certainly among her most ornate, beautifully appointed and acoustically sound. And being adjacent to the White House complex, its quite historic.
I was there to see Van Morrison at his DC appearances in the summer of 2009, and the sound was pristine. Robert Plant should have himself a memorable outing.
We can only hope that they will come to Europe next year. On the continent they played only Stockholm, Oslo, Basel and Paris. That’s far too little!!!
Believe this will be Percy’s first appearance at the Beacon Theater in NYC as a headliner. He sang at the Arthur Lee tribute there in 2006. Anyway, should be a good venue for the Golden God and BoJ. Classic old theater that got a full renovation not too long ago. Hopefully the Zep faithful who insist on shouting out “Bonzo!” and “Jimmy!” during Robert’s recent trips to NYC will stay home – or stay in the lobby drinking beer while those who came to hear the music can do so w/o the running commentary.
Love,
Billy
This is so exciting! I’ll be at DAR Constitution Hall on February 1st provided I can beat everyone else out for tickets. So glad Robert et al. are coming back to the U.S. He’s a treasure.
I am so at the Toronto show. Less than 3 months after seeing Jason Bonham at the same venue. Will be no. 11 for me. I fear I’ll never catch up to Dave Lewis!
