Speculation is mounting that a major announcement is due via the official Led Zeppelin.com Facebook page and twitter feed later this week.
The official Led Zeppelin .com Facebook page has carried what appears to be a daily countdown with Five and then Four appearing in Zep typography over the weekend.
Though there is no official word on this as yet, there is strong indication that this announcement, seemingly due later in the week, will reveal full details of an impending official DVD release of the Led Zeppelin Ahmet Ertegun tribute concert staged at the 02 Arena London on December 10th 2007.
Here’s the link to the official Facebook site:

Such a release has of course been much anticipated and long awaited and the prospect of the official footage being made available from the legendary 02 reunion concert is a mouthwatering one to say the least.
We could well be in for a very exciting few weeks.
