Them Crooked Vultures, the new Dave Grohl/Josh Homme/John Paul Jones supergroup made their UK debut on Wednesday night in a support slot to The Arctic Monkeys at the 02 Academy Brixton. Along with guitarist Alain Johannes, they performed a set that included the tracks Elephant, Gunman, Mind Eraser (No Chaser),Daffodils and Nobody Loves Me And Neither Do I.

The band was first seen in action on August 10th at the Metro in Chicago and followed that with appearances at Melkweg in Amsterdam,the Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium and Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands last week. There are now strong rumours that the trio will perform at the Reading and Leeds Festivals this weekend. Their album looks set for release in late October with tour dates to follow.
