TBL 20 ready to go, Zep Convention & easter greetings

Another hectic week for us all as we complete the text and layouts for TBL 20 (out in mid April) and spend the weekend reading the proofs before it goes to the printers.

This week I’ve been in touch with Graeme Hutchinson who is well up for staging the previously mentioned Zep Fan Convention in London. Graeme hopes to have news of a venue soon with a projected date of mid October. More on this as it unfolds. Another UK attraction this year will be the Zeppelin Memorabilia Exhibition being staged (very appropriately) at Knebworth House from August 1 to September 3. Organiser Annie Hollinshead has some exciting plans for this which I’ll continue to relay.

On the football front it was great to see the boy Adam‘s school team triumph in their Cup Final yesterday afternoon. At 1-1 after extra time it went to the dreaded penalty shoot out, and after last week’s Spurs disappointment my heart was in my mouth when Adam stepped up to take his….but he coolly netted and they went on to win a sudden death shoot out. Phew!

On the Easter playlist: Plenty of Faces (great feature in a recent Uncut mag), Rolling Stones (hoping to catch their new Shine A Light movie),Robert Plant 66 to Timbuktu (try Life Begins Again an epic performance) – just got the new Plant biography by Neil Daniels and about to dissect that…while Zep wise it’s been Four Your Life from the 02 ..and with their respective anniversaries due I’ll be pulling out Presence and BBC In Concert 1971 over the Easter weekend.

Not much leisure time of course for us retailers (Bank holidays I’m working mate!) but we are all off on Easter Sunday. A welcome rest bite.

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing – have a happy Easter!
