In an interview with Sky News, Jimmy stated his intention to be out playing in 2010. “Next year, I have every intention of playing music live and making it — manifesting it. I’ve got it. I’ve got it there. I’ve got the music waiting. It just needs to be done. So that’s it. Jimmy Page and Led Zeppelin are to feature exclusively on a BBC 6 Music. The programme, Jimmy Page and the BBC Sessions, will be broadcast in two parts on Christmas Day (25 December).
You can hear Part 1, Led Zeppelin in 1969, on 6 Music between 1200-1300 GMT, with Part 2, Led Zeppelin in 1971, on-air between 2100-2200.

David Williams, from Epsom, is the author of The First Time We Met The Blues, in-which he tells of his friendship with music icons such as Jimmy Page and Mick Jagger.
