CELEBRATION DAY RELEASES: THE COUNTDOWN IS ON – 6 DAYS TO GO – FILM REVIEW FROM ECUADOR – LATEST TEASER
The TBL Celebration Countdown continues…to mark the impending momentous worldwide release of Celebration Day – the Led Zeppelin Ahmet Ertegun 02 reunion concert on DVD, Blue ray and CD on Monday November 19th 2012 , we are counting down to the day….
Countdown to the Celebration Day release …6 days to go.
Here is Jose Manuel Parada’s review from the showing in Guayaquil, Ecuador : The Celebration Day global juke box contines..
Went to see Celebration Day last friday…, what a tremendous work they have done. The movie is as real as it gets. The cinema is one of the newest here in Guayaquil Ecuador so video and audio were spectacular. The whole excitement of the anticipation was like re-living the show itself almost 5 years ago…Took off early from work to have some beers and then on 6.30pm off to the theatre. Upon arrival I was looking for the poster but there was none which was a down point since I was planning to take some pictures and of course, i was going to try to steal it after the screening!
We went in and room wasn’t full at all, probably at 25% of capacity. So after the trailers the screen went black and “Three P Films Presents”, I started clapping like a maniac followed by the people in the room, Tampa newsreel, Jason count in and take off..!!!
For the first 2 or 3 notes volume was not good enough so we all went “turn it up…”, “volumeeeee”, “more volume – this is a rock concert…!!! turn it up” and so they did and it got pretty loud just the way it has to be seen. We all know how good this is and details about it…, I was simply amazed by it all. Each song better than the other and I said this before, the drumming of Jason is pure perfection and have to point out Kashmir and specially the end of it where he is just superb. My wife was in absolute shock of seeing it all….
In the “Thrilla in Manila” documentary, Ferdie Pacheco (Ali’s doctor and cornerman) says that if you want to show people what the real atraction of boxing is, you just need to show them round 14 (Ali – Frazier III)…,
If someone ask what the real attraction of a rock concert is then I would have to say “Kashmir” at the O2…, it just doesn’t get any better than that one.
I’m planning to go again this Wednesday, so let’s hope there will be the poster and wish me luck…!!!
Cheers…!!!; JM

just got a mail from Bol.com – my online shop: they shipped the 2cd/2dvd package, arriving tomorrow the 16th. Nothing about shipping the 3LP set. Anxious to listen and watch…
I have asked for a blue ray dvd player for christmas i dont think it will remain unopened until dec 25th
What is Blue ray?
I had an email yesterday from the place I have preordered the DVD from, telling me that they have a problem with their supplier and I’ll be waiting a couple more days for MY Christmas pressie. At least I know the wait will be worth it.
Celebration Day, in all its formats, is actually going on sale this Friday 16 November in Australia!
A very early Christmas gift…for myself! 6 days to go, then annoy the neighbours with the music made by my heroes! Yeah!
