Just think of all the keyboard Zeppelin songs that would never have been if not for JPJ. Since I’ve Been Loving You, Stairway to Heaven, No Quarter, Trampled Underfoot. Hell, if not for JPJ, we would have never had the last album In Through the Out Door.
JPJ, your contribution to the band is now more appreciated than ever.

    Happy Birthday JPJ. Keep rockin!!

Happy New Year to all the loyal Zep fans!! 2011!!!

I can’t put it any other way, I simply love the guy. I could blabber on all night about how great John Paul is, but what’s the point, we all know what special talent he is. If there was any chance at all, I’d love to see him playing with the Band of Joy – he’d fit like a glove.

Not bad for a pensioner – enjoy your bus pass bonny lad!!

Happy Birthday to one-half of the greatest rhythm section ever to play rock and roll or any other kind of music. No secret Bonzo was so good with JPJ along side, they were perfect together. JPJ, long may you and your star shine, without you there would have been no Led Zeppelin.Peace….

JPJ may have been the “quiet one” verbally, but musically his work speaks VOLUMES. He can nail a rythm section to the f*&kin floor. What a talent. What can’t JPJ play? Best Wishes in the New Year.

definitely my favorite Zeppelin and although they say never meet your heroes, when I had the pleasure a few weeks before the O2 gig, it couldn’t have been further from the truth. an absolute gentleman and a musical genius of the highest order without any package.

Happy Birthday JPJ and thanks for the music

A fitting tribute to “the quiet one”…

I’ve been lucky enough to see Robert & Jimmy quite a few times, but seeing the Vultures in Birmingham Academy in Dec 2009 was the first time I’d managed to catch John. Needless to say the biggest cheer of the night was reserved for “John Paul F***in’ Jones!” as Josh so aptly put it.

Seeing John riffing with the Grohlster on an extended Spinning In Daffodils, locked on to each other, face to face, was one those times you wish you bottle up and keep forever!!!

Happy Birthday John and thanks for the music!
