As usual with the  VIP Fairs, there’s an abundance of  Led Zep stuff on offer and it’s always a great day out.

I will be in attendance over the two days signing copies of the book from the TBL stall. A variety of Tight But Loose products, and the new issue of the Tight But Loose Led Zeppelin magazine will also be available. I look forward to seeing all who can make it along. I’ll also be having a beer or two afterwards and  again look forward to welcoming all who can join me.

Pub venue is:

The Cumberland Arms

29 North End Road, Hammersmith, London W14 8SZ

I could do with knowing in advance if you are coming to the event to purchase a book –this will give some idea of the quantity of stock I will need on hand – to that end if you are planning on attending can you inform me (stating which day you will be attending) either by using the comments section below or by email to

Many thanks.

Note: If you have already pre ordered a book and plan attending either of the Olympia Fair launch days – I can reserve your book for you to collect. Just send an email to me so I can arrange collection.

The TBL stall willbe situated to the left of the hall as you walk in.

All in all, the Led Zeppelin Knebworth book launch/VIP Musicmania Fair looks to be a hugely enjoyable event. I look forward to saying hi to all that can make it along.

Zirka – Robert Plant Documentary of his travels to Mali:

072 (1)

Zirka  a travelogue film produced by Robert Plant of his 20133 trip to Mali is being aired via his official website The 8-part documentary can be viewed every Monday on & official YouTube channel

Here’s some explanatory notes from Robert va his website:

Justin, outside of playing guitar, tehardant (african lute) and bendirs, is a much sought after producer. He worked the first and third Tinariwen albums . His association with French co-operative LoJo and their Moroccan and Malian counterparts presented countless musical and social options. Through one of these portals Justin had been invited to return to Mali to the Festival in the Desert 2003. Me, Skin and Logan offered to carry his bags!!! And did….

Zirka is a rough travelogue of just that…

A journey of revelation…one of the most illuminating and humbling experiences of my life.

A journey that took us from the scurry and bustle of our world into the homeland of the Tuareg..the Sahel of Mali, Timbuctoo and north to Essakane.

A journey that could only reinforce the power and the great gift of music across and between cultures..sharing outside of language. A world where for awhile, at least borders, boundaries and barriers once again fell it was long ago..

— RP

Zirka has been segmented into eight episodes that will be unveiled every Monday at
