Robert and Alison Krauss have announced the first tour dates of the much anticipated Raising Sand Tour. 

Confirmed so far are: 

May 5–Birmingham NIA 

May 7–Manchester Apollo 

May 8–Cardiff International Arena 

May 10–Düsseldorf Philipshalle 

May 11–Brussells Forest National Club 

May 13–Paris Le Grand Rex Theatre 

May 14–Amsterdam Heineken Music Hall 

May 16–Stockholm Hovet (Ice Hall) 

May 18–Oslo Spektrum 

May 19–Bergen Bergenshalle 

May 22–London Wembley Arena 

All tickets are now on sale and are available from the normal agencies. 

It’s also rumored that the pair will also appear at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. The festival takes place on April 25-27 and May 1-4 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Fairgrounds Race Course. Elsewhere it’s also reported that Robert and Alison will be appearing at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. Bonnaroo promoters say the official announcements will be made in late January, early February. This is the same festival John Paul Jones appeared at in 2007. Bonnaroo will take place June 12-15, 2008 in Manchester, Tennessee. For more info go to the Raising Sand website.
