TBL 34 OUT ON THE STREETS – DISTRIBUTION LATEST

7 February 2013 4,695 views 15 Comments

The 34th issue of the Tight But Loose magazine is finally out on the streets  and spreading the latest Zep word to destinations in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Russia, South Africa, Indonesia, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland…truly the global essential Led Zeppelin magazine…and coming your way soon…

Now and again it’s good to redefine and reaffirm why I have committed so many man hours of my waking life to this mission and I’ve just had a good look through this new issue.

Call me a sentimental old fool, but reading it made me feel more a of Led Zeppelin fan than ever…and reading it brings out the fan in me because above everything, that’s what I remain – and TBL is the type of magazine that as fan I would (and do!) love reading.

I think you can expect to be feeling the same after wading through this latest TBL outpouring. So if you haven’t yet taken the plunge do so now because this 34th issue of the Led Zeppelin magazine I first created in 1978 really will take you back to the music with a fresh perspective. That has always been the objective these past 35 years.

In an era of here today, gone tomorrow instantly digested info, the TBL magazine remains a tangible collectable. In ordering the magazine there’s the anticipation of something tangible arriving in the post – and when it arrives on your doorstep, as I mentioned, you can except to be taken on a written journey that leads you back to the music of Led Zeppelin in all its differing forms with renewed enthusiasm.

Importnat : If you are a TBL 2012 subscriber your subscription expires with this issue 34 – and now is the time to re- subscribe for the 2013 issue which will cover issues 35, 36 and 37. There is a flyer in every copy of TL 34 to prompt you.  Many thanks for your ongoing support.

One again this issue has been made possible by the tremendous input of designer Mick Lowe in bringing it all alive from Studio Mix in Bedford. Very special thanks also to Mike Tremaglio and Dec Hickey for text overseeing and Gary Foy for TBL admin, Ross Halfin for the photos, and to contributors Nick Anderson, Kevin Hewick, Alec Plowman, Christophe Le Pabic,  Andre Cruz, Gerard Sparaco and Jeff Strawman.

Dave, you’ve surpassed yourself. TbL34 landed today and I don’t know where to begin! A small book you said and you weren’t joking…

It’s packed! Can’t wait to get stuck in… Mike Tremaglio’s tour retrospectives are always great but I’m also looking forward to the Ross Halfin vinyl collecting interview, the Celebration Day summary/round up and the outtakes predictions. And that’s not even scratching the surface…

What with Celebration Day getting its belated vinyl release this Monday and TbL dropping through the letterbox today, it’s a cracking time to be a Zep fan…and it’s great to feel part of this wonderful community that you’ve created so we can all share our love of this exceptional band. Dave Lewis, take a bow!

So thanks to you and your guys for another superb edition of TbL and HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY GARY!!!!

    All the best

    Rich
