Their debut album is set for release in September to be followed by a tour in 2011.
Jason Bonham and Robert Plant linked up for an interview conducted on The Paul & Young Ron Show” which airs on several terrestrial radio stations in Florida. Big 105.9’s Web site streams the show live. The interview took place on Thursday May 27th. Robert was phoning in from a location in Wales – Jason was on a separate line. Both talked enthusiastically about their respective forthcoming projects –for Robert his up coming US tour and for Jason his plans to present a 30 show multi media Led Zeppelin Experience tour to mark the 30th anniversary of his fathers death. U2’s cancellation of their Glastonbury bill topping spot following Bono’s back injury, prompted the usual speculation that a reformed Led Zeppelin might take their slot. The announcement that Gorillas are now officially headlining the Friday night has quickly poured cold water on that rumour.
