‘Jimmy 1977 by Janet Macoska’ – April 27, 1977, Richfield Coliseum, Cleveland, USA.

Jimmy Page was recently interviewed for The New York Times regarding the forthcoming publication of the Jimmy Page By Jimmy Page book .

Talking to Ben Susario  he said ’’As far as a pictorial record, you can certainly see a little bit behind the music, and you can make your own mind up. I’m not really colouring it too much with what annotations I’ve made. I didn’t want to laden it with controversies. I just wanted the pictures to speak in a way that the music does. But there’s only one thing as far as I’m concerned that remains constant and true, and that’s the music. So if you want to use your imagination, please apply it to the music rather than things that maybe surrounded it.’’ The full interview is at this link

Well, Well thirty years on and after the 1980’s when their popularity fell ever lower. The mighty Led Zeppelin are still alive and well. I LOVE IT! I just hope the tribute to John is done the right way to a great man and THE best drummer!
