Dave, great issue.It is interesting reading that in Jasons interview he stated Robert has seen part of the O2 show on film. Does this mean there is an official DVD in the making, or is it an expensive home movie?
Any news Dave ?
Hi Dave,
Many thanks for another information-packed, sore-eye guaranteed issue, especially for this non-native speaker of English…
Let me set the record straight though.
You begin the John Paul Jones Latest News as below;
“Them Crooked Vultures year long sojourn ended with two shows in Japan at the end of July -Shibuya on July 28th and the final date at the Fuji Rock Festival in Tokyo on July 30th.”
Actually Shibuya is a busy district in Tokyo where hordes of the locals and the tourists alike are seen enjoying shopping and clubbing etc, like Oxford Street in London, while the Fuji Rock Festival is an annual event (commemorating its 14th year round this time since its start of 1997) held in Naeba, a popular ski resort located in the mountainous areas in Niigata prefecture, roughly 100 miles to the north from Tokyo.
This time I had to miss both due to horrendous work circumstances…the mid-life reality dictates alas.
Dave,
it just keeps getting better & better – superb edition – really loved the Nick Kent interview & his hint about writing ‘the book ‘ – it would be terrific if he did as he seems to be effortless in bringing to light very intelligent insights into the personalities & dynamics of the band. He’s a terrific writer & very interesting character. Also found Gary Davies piece on Bonzo very moving. Another wonderful edition Dave, you’re a legend
you lucky lot, still waiting for mine, patiently tho
Just got my copy (in the states).

Good work as always Dave.
