‘Zep School’ Tribute Weekend

6 December 2007 2,053 views No Comment

With Led Zep’s reunion show what better time to announce the first ever “Zep School” – the weekend retreat at a luxuriously appointed country house where rockers can learn to roll. Forget the disappointment of not getting tickets for the rearranged December show, 7th- 9th December are the dates you need. Not only will you hear great Zep music, you can have a go at playing it too. For more info see www.rockmasters.net.

Rockmasters are offering the chance to learn the classic Led licks with one-to-one hands-on time with our experts – including main man Mike Hurst (a former bandmate of Jimmy Page who has worked with John Paul Jones too) and Brit percussion legend Clem Cattini who was in the band that later became Zeppelin with Page, Plant and Jones. Whether you’re a budding Bonham or an enthusiastic novice we can bring on your playing.

Our super-group will take over the whole house at the lavish Fallowfields hotel in Oxfordshire to ensure that no ‘civilians’ can get in the way of the rock n roll fun.

As well as the music, the weekend away offers a great themed menu with dishes ranging from Red Snapper Surprise to Jack Daniels flavoured ice cream. Needless to say there is a lavishly stocked bar and the drinking and story-swapping goes on late – and the music doesn’t stop.

For those truly wild at heart, we can arrange motorbike pick ups from London and Oxford – and, who knows, maybe we can even provide some TVs to defenestrate.

Unlike the band themselves we’re happy with singles, though guests can of course bring along their own partners (or indeed groupies) to join in the fun.

More info and booking details can be found at rockmasters.net – what better to give someone as an early Christmas present than the chance to rock like Zeppelin?
