Last time Robert Plant performed in Riga on July 19, 2001. The concertgoers of that show who came to listen to the Golden Voice of LZ and the Strange Sensation again at the Kipsala Hall on August 10, 2003 noticed that this show was full of more excitement than the previous one and Dreamland songs at the performance were harder and more major than at the album.

There were 7.000 seats there. This year’s attendance was considerably more than that of the 2001 event. The fans seemed more active in Riga than in Haapsalu. During the concert Robert was very merry, he spoke a lot and looked at the young girls. The optimistic smiles didn’t leave his face. He looked very satisfied by the evening.

To fans’ regret, there wasn’t a sale of Robert Plant related merchandise such as t-shirts, discs and souvieners. And this concert coincided with the international sailing regatta “Cutty Sark Tall Ships – Races 2003”. It was a big holiday that attracted a great amount people to Riga.
