The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Morning Dew

Robert appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He was wearing brand new dark jeans, and a stylish suede jacket, and appeared to have slimmed down considerably. He and the band did a very unique “Morning Dew”, with brand new keyboard parts, and an extended instrumental section. It was quite possibly the most exploratory version yet, the closet thing to that 60’s acid rock ideal they have been trying to achieve.

Saw Robert on the “Tonight Show” last evening; very good. He looked good, got a haircut and it was rather short with no mousse in it. Introduced by Jay Leno as “former lead singer of the rock group Led Zeppelin and now pursuing a solo career, Robert Plant” to which Plant came out and sang a great and jazzed up version of Morning Dew. Though I’m a New Yorker and partial to Letterman I must say the Tonight Show performance was better.
