Another Saturday…another Knebworth anniversary. 33 years ago today Led Zeppelin performed what would be their final UK show at Knebworth Park
To mark the 33nd anniversary I’ve dug out my original August 11th review as initially featured in Tight But Loose issue 3. I can remember writing that as if was yesterday. Rose tinted or not, I stand by every word because that is the effect that it had on us all back then. It could and should have been a new beginning –as it was it became their last hurrah …

Former Priory of Brion drummer Andy Edwards has been in touch to inform us that his wife Dani is raising money for the cot death charity fsid. Dani is arranging for an array of drummers and musicians to sign a snare drum which will be subsequently auctioned for the fsid charity. Robert Plant has already added his name personally to the drum – all the details of how you can donate to this very worthy cause can be found at

Paul Weller, Jon Lord, Robert Plant, Ian Paice – Porchester Halls Sunflower charity jam event – September 14th, 2006.
It was very sad to hear the news of the passing of Jon Lord age 71. I knew he had been ill with cancer during the last year. When I interviewed Maggie Bell last autumn she had mentioned it and spoken in glowing terms about working with Jon (as everyone does).
I was actually off line on Monday due to connection problems and did not see the news until early on Tuesday – it …
