Remembering John Bonham 35 years On
Next month sees the 35th anniversary of the untimely and tragic death of John ‘Bonzo’ Bonham, the powerhouse behind Led Zeppelin and arguably the best drummer in the world.
Redditch born John died on 25th September 1980 at the age of just 32 at Led Zep guitarist Jimmy Page’s home near Windsor. Weeks later the remaining band members announced Led Zeppelin would disband.

The launch night of the Proud Chelsea Gallery Led Zeppelin Photo Exhibition proved a big success.
The gallery itself is adorned with a series of superbly displayed framed images from a variety of photographers. Amongst them, superb Earls Court and Madison Square Garden ’77 shots from Michael Putland, US tour 1975 pics from Lynne Goldsmith and early 1969 images from Jorgen Angel.
