Reflections on the simply amazing John Bonham A Celebration concert in Redditch last Saturday:

Brilliantly organised, there was a real feeling of warmth throughout the day – the outside rain did nothing to dampen spirits.
It was great to catch up with so many friends and TBL people including Gary Davies, Chris Maley, Ian Avey and Sue ,Graeme Hutchinson and Pam, Steve Way, Paul Aspey, David Cunningham, Mark Halliwell, Clem and Sam Dellaway to name but a few.
I arrived around 11am. I had my own early morning moment next …

There’s been many an hour spent checking and rechecking the text these past few days and the final few pages of design are underway. Mick Lowe at StudioMix has done another fantastic job in bringing it all alive.

So this is Christmas…
Christmas Eve is upon us – and it’s that final rush to get everything sorted for the next few days.
As is customary on Christmas Eve here – I’ll be wearing my Led Zeppelin Winterland 1969 tie brought for me by Larry Ratner in 1992 (hi Larry!) – and there may be another Zep related clothing accessory to parade (thanks Mr Lodge). After all the intense TBL activity of recent weeks, it will be great to unwind today in the company of visiting friends and along the way …
