Ten years ago this weekend along with  my good friends Tom and Gary (and Terry and Kam), I watched England triumph over Scotland 2-0 on Saturday afternoon (sorry Billy!) Then we all ventured to Birmingham in a mini bus driven by the Foy boy to witness Robert and the Priory Of Brion performing in the lounge bar of the Kings Heath Red Lion pub.

Them Crooked Vultures have streamed their new album on line via their You Tube page. Almost two weeks before the release of the much anticipated debut album, adverts appeared on the bands web-site stating “Fuck Patience, Let’s Dance.” Each of the 13 tracks appears with the album art-work replacing the need of actual video.

As mentioned last week Robert Plant turned up at Francis Dunnery’s end of tour show at The Walls Oswestry Shrophire, on November 6, 2009. Robert joined the former Fate Of Nations tour guitarist for a (loose) version of Calling To You.
