The official Jimmy Page Fine Art Photographic Print collection,  is a unique collaboration between Jimmy Page and five legendary photographers who have captured iconic images throughout his career, are offered in a museum-quality collection that has been produced to the highest standards to be framed and displayed as pieces of art. Under strict supervision, each silver gelatin black and white photograph has been traditionally printed by hand from negative in a laboratory dark room on Ilford premium quality fibre based paper, the colour photograph is printed on Fuji Crystal archival paper. Jimmy Page and each photographer have worked closely together with the dark room technicians and printer to produce this highly-collectible collection.
Strictly limited in an edition of 50 prints, each Fine Art Photographic Print is individually numbered and has been hand-signed by both Jimmy Page and the respective photographer.
The set includes photos by Jorgen Angel in Copenhagen 1970, Dick Barnatt at Earls Court Arena 1975, Neal Preston at Chicago Stadium 1977, Baron Wolman at Oakland Coliseum, California 1977 and a Ross Halfin portrait of the guitarist taken in 2009.

On May 8th Jimmy Page was in attendance at the launch of the Genesis Publications book  Speed Of Life – a celebration of David Bowie from 1972-2009 –by Japanese photographer Masayoshi Sukita.  Newsnight host Emily Maitlis, Radio 2 stalwart “Whispering” Bob Harris and Spandau Ballet singer Gary Kemp were also at the event held in Mayfair’s, Dover Street Arts Club. The music trade magazine Music Week  recently reported that BIMM Bristol, the college of popular music, is to offer a Peter Grant Memorial Scholarship in memory of the legendary manager.The scholarship is for a place on the brand new BA (Hons) degree course, Music Industry Management, which is being launched by BIMM Bristol from September 2012. The Peter Grant Memorial Scholarship will cover approx £16,000 of course fees across the three-year undergraduate programme. BIMM Principal Vaseema Hamilton explained: “BIMM have created this scholarship in memory of the one of the most influential figures of the modern music industry.”

Peter Grant’s daughter, Helen Grant, said: “My father would have been both touched and honored that this scholarship has been created in his name. He was a great inspiration to many people in the business; not only on the management front, but also in the way he looked after his artists – in his own, infamous way. A charismatic personality coupled with great humour means he is never far away. This is a long overdue accolade.”
Mark Clayden, BIMM Bristol College manager commented: “We have designed the BA (Hons) Music Industry Management to support up and coming young professionals eager to make their mark in the music industry. We will be training students in all areas of this ever changing industry including: Live Event Management, Retail, Promotion, Record Labels, A&R, Working With Musicians, Finances and Music Law.”. Peter died from a heart attack in 1995 at the age of 60. 1996, The MMF award for outstanding achievement in management was renamed the Peter Grant Award in his honour.

Paul Rodgers has announced that he will be playing his only UK concert this year on Thursday May 31st in Chichester at The Venue. Joining Rodgers on the bill will be Deborah Bonham and her Band who will be performing songs from their new album. Two children’s groups from the Chichester Music Academy who work closely with the charity, will open up the evening. All of the proceeds from the concert will go to The Racehorse Sanctuary and Rehoming Centre, a self funded Charity.

Seated tickets are sold out but there are limited standing tickets still available.

After 3 groundbreaking tribute shows entitled “Bonzo: The Groove Remains The Same” and a collective passion and respect amongst all the participating drummers, past and present to John Bonham, the greatest rock drummer ever, Brian Tichy and Joe Sutton have decided to go for it once again!

Bonzo’s Birthday Bash is taking place on May 31st,  Bonzo’s exact birthday! Many of the past drummers who have performed are back, as well as some new Lords Of Groove!

Tichy says, “It is a relatively simple concept. When I first thought of this, the idea seemed too cool NOT to try. You get a John Bonham replica drum set, complete with gong and timpani, up front, center stage, and have each drummer perform their favorite Led Zeppelin song with a house band  (The Moby Dicks).  There are no rules other than to have fun putting your own groove and character into your song choice! It’s such a unique night, seeing how all these great drummers approach the same drum set making it their own!  And ‘The Moby Dicks’ hold their own as a true force to be reckoned with!  We have structure, and within the structure there is total freedom, making the pace and vibe of this show somewhere between a backyard party and a…. backyard party with a killer band playing Led Zep songs! Haha!   ‘The Groove Remains The Same’ has morphed into ‘Bonzo’s Birthday Bash’, as this tribute falls on Bonzo’s exact birthday!
