Set list: 1st set: Zooma/Goose/Grind/The Smile of Your Shadow/Nosumi Blues/No Quarter/Spaghetti Junktion/(That’s the Way-tease)/Going To California/Steel Away/Snake Eyes/Nobody’s Fault But Mine
2nd set: Triple-neck solo/Crack Back/Bass N’ Drums (w/ Heartbreaker; Dazed & Confused teases)/B Fingers/Jump Blues/When the Levee Breaks/Tidal Encores: Trampled Underfoot/Black Dog
A very strong performance by Jonsey and company. Highlights were Nosumi Blues, No Quarter, Spaghetti Junktion, and Going to California in the 1st set. Jones made some errors in the solo of NQ, and grimmaced in acknowledgment. Very cool Going to california…possibly highlight of the evening. Jones made a coment early in the set…something to the affect of “in a rock and roll tour today there is definately a lot of bottled water.” All three bandmates then took gulps together. 2nd set highlights were Triple neck solo, Bass N Drums, and When the Levee Breaks. Levee was extremely powerful nad had the crowd going nuts with the kick-drum intro. Trampled Underfoot and Black Dog were both great as encores, with Black Dog being the stronger of the two. Jones again made mistakes in the keyboard solo of Trampled, and afterwards shook his hands vigorously. Black Dog was amazing! Another definate standout in a night that was one to remember.
