The Final Three Led Zeppelin Reissues: Today is the day…
Today, Friday July 31, 2015, sees the official worldwide release of the final three Led Zeppelin reissues – Presence, In Through The Out Door and Coda.

Led Zeppelin – From The Beginning 1963 – 1975 Photo Exhibition at Proud Chelsea Gallery:
A photo exhibition ‘Led Zeppelin from the Beginning 1963 – 1975’ is launching this August at the Proud Chelsea Gallery in London.  The exhibition is an exploration of Led Zeppelin’s progression from the musical experimentations of their ancestors,The Yardbirds, to the rock band fronted by Jimmy Page which quickly gained international acclaim. The exhibition will feature photography by former Yardbird Chris Dreja, as well as renowned music photographers Michael Brennan and Lynn Goldsmith.

Robert Plant at Cannock  – July 11, 2015 – Forest Live:
An awesome night in the company of Robert Plant on the second of two summer UK gigs. A intimate crowd of fans, families and children together with an opening act consisting entirely of 11 year olds gave the concert the air of a welcoming British village fete. Seeing Robert this relaxed reminded me of his memorable Priory of Brion UK gigs.

TBL Issue 39 Out On the Streets: 
TBL 39 is out on the streets.
I have spent the past few days packing the TBL 39 issue ready to be shipped out to over 30 countries across the globe.I counted them all in and I’ll be counting them all out…
State of play so far is as follows: All UK copies will be in transit by the weekend and should be landing on UK doormats imminently.  Europe, USA, Canada and the rest of the world copies will filter out over the weekend and into next week.

TBL 39 is a wrap – Designer Mick Lowe and I signed it off on Monday and it’s now at the printers. Distribution should commence at the end of next week. We really went some to get this one finished -we had done a little work on it early in the year but that all got way laid when we began the Earls Court project – and it  was only after the Five Glorious Nights book was completed in early May that we got down to …

Saving the best to last….
It takes just one announcement for them to be the most popular band in the word today…still…
That is how it was on Wednesday following the unveiling of the final three Led Zeppelin reissues. The reaction was completely overwhelming. It was another of those times when you realise just how much this thing means to so many people.
How pleasing too that the general consensus of opinion is a big thumbs up in terms of the Companion Disc content – particularly for Coda.

The forthcoming issue of the TBL magazine -issue 39 is now well under production – text and lay out design is full on at StudioMix in Bedford via designer Mick Lowe. I am aiming at a late June publication.
If you are a current TBL 2015 subscriber (for which you will have previously received issue 38 which commenced the current three issue subscription), you will automatically receive this new issue TBL 39 as soon as it’s published. TBL issue 40 due later in the year then concludes the subscription.
