Next Monday night Them Crooked Vultures will be performing the opening show of the 2010 Teenage Cancer Trust series of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. The TBL Crew plan to be in attendance for a pre gig meet. We will be in The Queens Arms pub in Queens Gate Mews, (the same venue as the pre gig meets for Roberts Teenage Cancer Trust show in 2005 and the Page/Plant/Weller Teenage Cancer Trust show in 2002) from around 5pm onwards and look forward to seeing all those that can make it along. This excellent …

35 years ago today February 24th 1975 Led Zeppelin’s sixth album Physical Graffiti was unleashed on an eagerly awaiting Zep public. This 15 track double album stands for many as their premier recorded statement. Over three decades on, it remains the perfect one stop summary of every ingredient that makes Led Zeppelin THE outstanding rock band of yesterday… of today and tomorrow…
I vividly remember the pure excitement of investing in the new Led Zeppelin album that day 35 years ago. Feasting my eyes on that incredible sleeve, and the first …

Them Crooked Vultures set their perch atop the Tabernacle last Thursday night.

Review: Them Crooked Vultures at Vector Arena
By Scott Kara from the NZ Herald.co.nz
Pic from Birmingham.
Dave Grohl said recently that his time spent drumming in American rock band Queens of the Stone Age in 2002 was like being in the “coolest gang”.
With Them Crooked Vultures – a super group made up of the former Nirvana drummer and head Foo Fighter, Queens main man Josh Homme, and Led Zeppelin multi-instrumentalist John Paul Jones – he has stepped up into a legendary gang.
Even though they range in age from young buck …
