RECORD COLLECTOR WITH JIMMY PAGE AND EDDIE KRAMER INTERVIEWS

The new issue of Record Collector magazine (March 2010 issue) has a lengthy eight page interview with Jimmy Page by Jonathan Wingate in which he discusses the It Might Get Loud film and Zeppelin legacy. There’s also a four page interview with Eddie Kramer by Dave Lewis. This is an extended interview from the one featured in the current Tight But Loose magazine (issue 25). It’s a career overview in which Eddie recalls his work with The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin.

More Ups and Downs

Another week of ups and downs.
The downers: well have to say I got it wrong with taking the Borders job.
After a few days it was evident to me that this just wasn’t going to work out. For a variety of reasons I have therefore taken the decision to resign from Borders.
I thought being back in retail would re-energize me – and I’d cope fine but it just opened up all the old Zavvi wounds.
The shift patterns of the job would also have adversely affected my work/life balance …
