Ten years ago this weekend along with my good friends Tom and Gary (and Terry and Kam), I watched England triumph over Scotland 2-0 on Saturday afternoon (sorry Billy!) Then we all ventured to Birmingham in a mini bus driven by the Foy boy to witness Robert and the Priory Of Brion performing in the lounge bar of the Kings Heath Red Lion pub.
Ten years on history is repeating itself sort of, as later today we will soak up a bit of the England v Brazil friendly then venture out …

Them Crooked Vultures have the track “Mind Eraser, No Chaser” available as a free download for a limited time on iTunes. And watch out for the brass band at the end!
The band’s debut album, Them Crooked Vultures, will be released on Nov. 17, and is available for pre-order now.
